Tivar® FlamEx

Tivar® FlamEx, also known as Tivar 88 with BurnGard is a specially formulated flame retardant grade of UHMW-PE that combines the key characteristics of Tivar® 88 with flame retardancy.

It meets the following classifications:

• UL 94 VO
• DIN 5510-2 Class S4
• FMVSS 302
• BS 476, part 7

Tivar® FlamEx can be characterised by the following properties:

• Flame retardant
• Good abrasion resistance
• Good sliding properties
• High impact strength
• UV stabilised
• Anti static
