Chemical Resistant Materials

This class of materials utilises some of the more common types of plastics such as Rigid PVC, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Polypropylene (PP) but also fluoropolymers such as the following:

• PVDF
• FEP
• PFA
• ECTFE
• ETFE

These materials form the basis of technological development in the chemical resistance and containment field and in many instances outperform exotic metals.

Industry today is becoming more aware of the benefits of these polymers over traditional materials.

Please note that PVDF, ECTFE, FEP & PFA are available as dispersion catings that can be applied to a variety of metal substrates providing outstanding chemical reistance at elevated temperatures.
