23% Glass 2% Molybdenum Disulphide Filled
Having nearly all the properties of 25% glass filled, the addition of dry lubricant Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) reduces the starting coefficient of friction and steady-state wear.
While standard glass filled can be abrasive to mating parts, the inclusion of MOS2 reduces this effect.
This grade can be characterised by the following properties:
- Improved friction properties
- Increased stiffness
- Improved dimensional stability
- Improved dry running capability
- Negligible effect on electrical and chemical properties
- Improved abrasion resistance
Fields of application: scrapers, bushes, bearings, seals, piston rings
