Sustamid® PA6 G - MOS2

 

SUSTAMID - PA6 GMO

Having almost the same mechanical and electrical properties as SUSTAMID® PA6 G Natural, SUSTAMID® - PA6 GMO has a solid lubricant filler (Molybdenum Disulphide - MOS2) combined with Carbon Black which provides a slightly higher hardness and a slightly increased modulus of elasticity, but with greatly improved sliding properties.

This solid lubricant type does not rely on having a lubricating liquid film between contacting surfaces and is therefore ideal in applications where dust is present at it will not form an abrasive matrix.

PROPERTIES:

• Very good sliding characteristics plus all the properties of the Natural type.

APPLICATIONS:

• Dusty environments and applications requiring a UV resistant material.
