Tivar® 1000 BOR

Tivar® 1000 BOR is a PE-UHMW material modified with boron based additives used as shielding material in the Nuclear Industry but can be also used where neutron sheilding is required. Similar in performace to Tivar®1000 grade, it has increased absorption capacity for high energy radiation. This grade is available in a wide range of thicknesses and like all Tivar® grades can be easily machined into a wide vareity of shapes. Please refer you nearest E-Plas branch for more details.
