Tivar® SuperPlus
Tivar® SuperPlus is a specially formulated, partially cross-linked PE-UHMW which can perform at temperatures up to 105ºC without degradation. Its thermal expansion is up to 25% below other Tivar® formulations. As a reflection of its higher intrinsic viscosity and molecular weight, Tivar® SuperPlus has a higher tensile strength and wear resistance thus making it the chosen material in the demanding paper industry. Fields of application: high speed, under chain wear strips and under belt wear pads, sucker rods for in down hole drilling and telescopic boom pads, neck guides in the filling and packaging industry.
